My PROCESS
The UX design process is crucial for creating user-friendly interfaces that meet users' needs, ensure seamless interaction, encourage brand loyalty, and define customer journeys for business success. Having a process allows me to start addressing the problem promptly without assumptions.
Let’s take a closer look:
In the discovery phase, I:
Engage with clients and teams to understand their vision and objectives.
Observe targeted users, business plans, and competitors to identify how I can add value.
Conduct thorough research, including user surveys, personas, and competitive analysis, to gain insights into user behavior and needs.
Moving into the define stage, I:
Summarize the entire discovery phase, highlighting key insights from both user and business perspectives.
Collaborate with the client and team to pinpoint exact requirements, ensuring we address both user needs and business goals.
Create a feature priority list to focus on the most impactful features moving forward.
In the development stage, I:
Brainstorm and explore design ideas, creating initial sketches to experiment with different concepts.
Organize content in a logical structure that reflects user needs and business goals.
Map out user flows, visualizing the steps users take to achieve their goals within the product.
Develop low-fidelity wireframes to outline the design layout and features, and conduct usability testing and feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement.
Conduct visual research, exploring color schemes, typography, and style guides to inform the visual design phase.
In the delivery stage, I:
Create concept designs and choose the most promising ones, moving on to high-fidelity wireframes for a more detailed representation of the final product.
Develop interactive prototypes, allowing stakeholders and users to experience the design in a more tangible way.
Collect feedback on these prototypes through user testing sessions, iterating and refining the design based on the insights gathered.
